My settings are often as vivid as my characters: weathered beach houses, windswept dunes, small seaside towns where everyone knows your name and secrets are as common as seashells.

I’m drawn to stories about second chances, enduring friendships, and love that weathers life’s fiercest storms. When I’m not writing, you’ll find me walking the shoreline, plotting my next book, or curled up with a cup of coffee and a stack of well-loved romances, grateful to be telling stories set in the place that feels like home.

I feel so privileged that this is my full time job now. Writing stories that I would want to stay up late reading.

A few of my novels have been fortunate enough to land on bestseller lists, but what means the most to me is hearing from readers who found comfort, hope, or a little escape in the pages of my books.

I live on the coast of North Carolina, where the rhythm of the tides shapes my days and inspires my stories. The salt in the air, the cry of gulls at sunrise, summer storms rolling in off the Atlantic—these details find their way into every novel I write. 

I still feel a thrill every time I sit down to start a new love story.
